WHO WE ARE
Quota International of Massillon is a service organization that links local members of all various ages and backgrounds a local network of service and friendship in Western Stark County, Ohio.
OUR PROGRAMS
As service is our mission and the heart of Quota International of Massillon, our local club can determine how to meet the needs of our local community. However, Quota International of Massillon provides inspiration and opportunities to join with other Quota clubs to share ideas and success stories as well as national service initiatives.
MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS
Members of Quota International of Massillon connect to people in our local communities beyond traditional networks of work, school, church and social groups and clubs to share ideas, provide service and develop lasting friendships. No other organization offers a way to improve a community's well-being while expanding an individual's working knowledge and contacts in the community. Both in our outreach efforts and fellowship events, Quota International of Massillon provides a variety of valuable experiences and members can decide their own time and talent participation.
While serving others is a top priority, establishing lifelong friendships is a natural result of the work we do together in support of our community causes. Members of Quota International of Massillon are invited to grow personally and professionally by helping others and making friends along the way.
Our members gain satisfaction form helping one person to thousands throughout the country. Making a difference in the lives of others is our driving force.
QUOTA OF MASSILLON INTERNATIONAL INFORMATION:
Quota International of Massillon meets the third Wednesday evening (6:30 p.m.) of the month at St. Stephen Martyr Lutheran Church on a monthly basis . We also hold an annual summer picnic in August, and a holiday party in early January at the Massillon Woman's Club. Announcement is made of meetings a month ahead if there is a location change.
Membership is open to individuals of diverse occupations committed to sharing their time, talent and resources to meet Quota International of Massillon service goals. We welcome women who are retired from their careers and have the extra time to devote to serving as members of Quota International of Massillon.
Massillon Quotarians are known especially for their service to individuals who are deaf, hard-of-hearing, and speech impaired and to disadvantaged women and children. Our mission is to strengthen communities by enhancing opportunities and resources for all of its citizens.
Quota International of Massillon, Inc., chartered in April 1992, and was one of 269 clubs in 14 countries that made up Quota International, Inc., which celebrated 101 years as of February 6, 2020, of international service world- wide, linking members of all ages, occupations, and nationalities in a network of service. Quota International of Massillon celebrated 30 years of service in the Massillon, Ohio, and Western Stark County area as of April 2022. Quota International, Inc. dissolved in the Spring of 2021 and Quota International of Massillon joined Quota USA with other Quota Clubs in the United States to continue the mission.
If you know of a young child with a hearing loss, please contact us via our email page on the website, as we may be able to direct the family with the best course as to secure assistance with the cost of hearing aids. There are some programs in the State of Ohio that will provide assistance with the cost of hearing aids for children.
