Support for
Women and Children
NASA Astro Camp
We launched a new service project in 2023, to provide funding for the participation of children from the Boys & Girls Club of Massillon in a week long NASA AstroCamp. NASA AstroCamp is an interactive, hands-on STEM program produced by NASA and Central Creativity. Quota members organize the classroom and assist the students throughout the camp. The Paul & Carol David Foundation generously provided funding in 2023 to cover the costs of the student and teacher kits.
Adopt a Family
We provide a year of assistance on the 25th of each month for a family in need of support. We chose the 25th of each month because we wanted each month to feel like a Christmas gift for the family.
Pathway Caring for Children
We assist Pathway Caring for Children, a network for children in foster care, with needed items.
Save the Children
We partner with Save the Children through a shared service project with Quota USA to provide support to their education and nutrition programs directed to the poorest and most underserved rural communities in the United States. Profits from our annual Princess Tea Party fundraiser provides the funding for this project.
Salvation Army
We assist Salvation Army of Massillon with their annual back-to-school program in summer by providing hearing screenings, and funds for backpacks and supplies. Also, in December, we assist with their annual Christmas giveaway program. We provide volunteers for both programs to assist with setup and distribution to the families.
Massillon Family Living Center
We provide funds to the Massillon Family Living Center to assist in providing rooms for individuals/families on an ongoing basis. Also, in 2024, we began a new program to provide a hot meal for the families of the shelter one evening per month.
